I hereby request an inclusion in the ranks of The Tale's Tail Guild.
My roleplay interests are as follows:
I like talking to people in venues and / or cities.
I like exploring the open world in a casual fashion, without stress of combat.
I like talking about Final Fantasy lore and expanding my knowledge about it.
I like story based adventures where our characters work together to accomplish a task such as performing an investigation, obtaining an item, defeating an enemy etc.
I like dice based combat similar to classic RPGs such as Warhammer or Dungeons & Dragons.
I'd like to have some numeric progression of my character, e.g. levels, experience points, items, gil.
My character has a backstory that made him/her who he/she is today.
My character has goals to achieve and is actively working towards achieving those goals.
The Taleteller's Oath
1. I swear to live an adventureous life adequate to my capabilities and knowledge.
2. I swear to acquire knowledge and expand the domain of my experise - be it in combat, craftsmanship or relationships.
3. I swear to share at least some of my stories with other Taletellers, thereby contributing to the growth of knowledge of those around me.
4. I swear to aim first and foremost for having fun.

1. [Encourage Newbies] If you are more experienced or outgoing RPer, it would be awesome if you could encourage newbies and help them dip their toes in RP.
2. [Stay IC] You can speak OOC (out-of-character) on /tell and /party etc. On /say you should keep your messages mostly IC (in character). This is a light rule, feel free to break it whenever you feel like it makes sense in the moment - just don't overdo it.
3. [Turn off emotes] Turn off your "Display log message" in Emote settings (checkbox in right corner of your Emotes window)! You can still use custom emotes with your "/em your custom emote text" but don't clutter the chat with default emote text.
4. [Dispell minions] Dispell your minion. (You can keep your minion out if it serves a good RP purpose)
5. [No ERP] No open ERP, no explicitly sexual /em emotes or /say messages, no obnoxious sexual comments. This place has to stay newbie friendly.
